Opmerking:
1. DisplayPort Dual–modustechnologie (DP++) vereist geen actieve adapter voor de meeste individuele beeldscherminstallaties. Actieve DisplayPort-adapters zijn aanbevolen als u niet zeker bent van de DP++-compatibiliteit van de videobron.
2. MST (Multi-Stream Transport) vereist monitors die in staat zijn DisplayPort 1.2 in serie te schakelen, of monitors die een ingeschakelde DisplayPort MST-hub gebruiken. Een DisplayPort v1.1a-scherm kan het laatste scherm in een DisplayPort v1.2-keten zijn. De pc-bron moet compatibel zijn met DisplayPort 1.2
3. HD-audio via DisplayPort kan niet onafhankelijk worden geschakeld.
